NEW! Twilight Tours- Acorn Hall will be open on Thursdays until 7p.m. beginning Thursday, July 9 and continuing until Thursday, August 27. The last tour will begin at 6 p.m. Visitors arriving after 4 p.m. will receive a free drink card courtesy of Greenberry's Coffee and Tea Company. The Morris County Historical Society is an organization dedicated to preserving and providing awareness of the rich history of Morris County, New Jersey. The Society is headquartered at Acorn Hall, an 1853 Victorian Italianate mansion located in Morristown, NJ. The Society operates Acorn Hall as a historic house museum, produces exhibitions on local history in the Galleries at Acorn Hall, and provides public programming on Morris County history.
