Volunteers
The programs and activities of the Morris County Historical Society would not be possible without the time and talents of our volunteers.
Volunteers assist with exhibitions, programs, collections, the gift shop, and give tours.
Volunteers range in age from teens to senior citizens. Some give time weekly, some monthly, and some a few times a year for special events.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the staff at (973) 267-3465.
Interns
The Society hosts a volunteer internship program for high school and college students. Students from Seton Hall University, Bloomsburg University, Centenary College and Rutgers University have completed semester-long internships in areas of exhibitions, collections management and programs.
Internships are unpaid, but may be taken for college credits.
Students interested in an internship should contact the staff for an appointment and provide a resume.
